Now that summer is officially over, looking through the window in many places is all about rain and clouds. To inspire us with the more beautiful aspects of the season, why not remind ourselves of some great pieces of art that depict colorful leaves and the sun shining through them? 1. Hyde Park, Camille Pissaro

With amazing color accuracy, Hyde Park in London, England has never looked more beautiful. Camille Pissaro, the Impressionist and Postimpressionist painter, understood how to present nature in its full glory without making it mundane.

2. The Small Meadows in Spring, Alfred Sisley

The way this artist captured nature was unbelievably beautiful! Sisley valued his close friendship with Claude Monet, and it is not difficult to see the effects of it – over time their works became quite similar to each other. The English painter Joseph Mallord William Turner may have been eccentric, but his talent in presenting the wonders of nature through his masterful watercolors and oils firmly helped to elevate the genre of the landscape painting to its proper place.
